Community
A stage shared with the community.
MusicFest has always been about more than a headliner. Local bands, school groups, artists, vendors, volunteers, sponsors and neighborhood organizations have all helped create the day together.
Student performers from local schools have shared the stage with professional musicians.
That mix of professional music and local participation is what Levitt Houston can now grow into a recurring concert and community music program.

The shirts live on.
Many of these posters also became MusicFest T shirts. Longtime fans still pull them out of the drawer, and you’ll spot a few on the lawn at our concerts.

From a festival model to a recurring concert series.
MusicFest proved the audience and built the experience. The next step is a recurring Levitt concert series that grows the audience, sponsors, donors and rhythm of free music at Willow Waterhole, show by show.
