Future pavilion vision
A permanent home for free live music.
The concert series begins in 2027. The future Levitt Pavilion will give the music a permanent home designed for artists, audiences and community beside Willow Waterhole Greenway in Southwest Houston.

What it will be
Music, nature and community together.
Levitt Pavilions pair a professional covered stage with an open lawn, built for free concerts close to home and full of neighbors.
Free concerts
Professional artists. Up to 40 free concerts a year.
Your spot on the lawn
Blanket or chair, up front or way back. Every spot works.
Room for kids
Space to run, tumble and play on the grass.
Room to dance
Space up front for anyone who can’t sit still.
Evenings outside
Sunset, a breeze and live music over Willow Waterhole.
Something new every show
A different sound each night. Find your next favorite band.
Beyond concert night
What a Levitt venue can make possible.
Across the Levitt network, the work extends beyond the main stage. As Levitt Houston grows, the permanent venue can create new ways for artists, students, schools and community partners to connect through music.
Artists and students
Visiting artists can connect with young musicians through school visits, workshops and shared performance experiences.
Music beyond the lawn
Pop up performances can take music into schools, neighborhoods and partner locations.
Local artists and cultural celebrations
Houston musicians and community partners can help shape programs that reflect the cultures of Southwest Houston.
A community gathering place
Room for school performances, neighborhood gatherings and partner events beyond the main concert series.
Starting now
Every show is a preview of what is coming.
The 2027 concert series starts building the Levitt experience before the pavilion is built: professional music, an open lawn, neighbors together and new audiences growing show by show.

The site
A Houston landmark with a new purpose.
Shell developed this site in the 1950s for research and testing, and engineers and crews worked there for decades. The original derrick still stands as part of that heritage. As the property becomes a new gathering place beside Willow Waterhole, the derrick will be a familiar point on the landscape, a marker of arrival and part of the identity of Levitt Houston.
